Atmosphere beautifully supports menu at Greek on Main

More than any other cuisine, Greek food is truly the sum of its parts. While you’ll run into some spices and herbs here and there, such as cinnamon, thyme and oregano, the food of Greece is most no-table for the interaction of its core ingredients. A gamy lamb shank, a fine feta, a whole Mediterranean fish or fresh figs tend to need no help from the spice rack if combined masterfully. And The Greek on Main does it right. The restaurant, on the corner of Main and New streets, produces Hellenic dishes from all regional cuisines. Some you may have heard of, and some may be new to you, but you can be sure that the kitchen is putting out versions at their best. Read more from author Christopher Thumann.

Edison Arts Society (EAS) Presents Nella Zadra at the Greek On Main

Nella Zadra, an international artist who graduated from the College of Fine Arts
in Buenos Aires Argentina. After working in commercial art and sculpture for several years, she decided to concentrate on mural painting but continued to enjoy creating smaller pieces.

She left a legacy of more than 50 murals throughout Buenos Aires where she participated in group and
individual exhibits. In working for the Historic Monuments Society, Zadra helped to restore three historic temples and created scenery for the opera “Francesca da Rimini” at the very prestigious Symphony Hall in Newark, NJ.

Her exhibit at the Greek on Main Restaurant, Main Street in Metuchen will open on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm and close on July 13, 2017. Please come and feast your eyes as well as your pallet.

EAS president, Gloria S. Dittman, complimented Teddy Pappas, owner of the Greek, for supporting
the ARTS! We hope that everyone will visit the exhibit and support our artists here in NJ. If I may,
I’d like to leave you with this thought — “Art transcends all barriers, all languages and speaks to everyone.”
